Keys and Cars, A Love-Hate Relationship
Let's acknowledge: our relationship with car keys is a strange one. We adore their power to unlock the freedom of the open road, but we also resent their tendency to vanish at the most terrible moments.
One minute, they're i locked myself out the house pocketed, and the next, they've disappeared. We dig through our belongings in a panicked frenzy, only to be confronted with the cruel reality: our keys are nowhere to be found.
- An alternative set of keys? That's a luxury we rarely have.
- We become an amateur Sherlock Holmes, retracing our steps, searching every nook and cranny for that tiny key fob.

Perhaps that I unintentionally left them at work?
This is so frustrating.
I'm starting to panic. At this point, I'm just praying that a kind person will see me.

Then, my favorite pair of jeans/pants/shorts ripped right down the seam/backside/middle. But now? Now things have reached a whole new level of inconvenience/frustration/disaster. I just got back from the store and, wouldn't you know it, I've locked my keys in the car . Of course this happened on a day where I really need to get somewhere important/have a ton of errands to run/am already running late.
